From the beginning of my approach to music I have had attention to religious music as a life's one. when I played La Catedral by Agustin Barrios for classical guitar, I decided to write a similar version for the Mosque or Masjed. Composed on 1/4/2009, Canon in 4 is my only approach to Serialism, based on 4 series of tone, cell, figure and dynamic. Accordingly I have made series of larger musical material (cell and figure) together classical ones (tone and dynamic).

Canon in 4 sounds to some extent a new method of composing serial music and for a critical approach to Serialism has a Postmodern character. Serialism in its primary form is an old fashioned and without my novelty, this composition even could be A Return to the Past!
